By utilizing our technological expertise and creative talents in the ICT industry, we seek to contribute to the promotion of sustainable development. In addition, while observing all environmental regulations in our business operations, we are actively pursuing environmental protection activities on our own initiative. Through our individual and collective actions, we will continuously strive to safeguard a rich natural environment for future generations.

Environmental Action Plan

This action plan is to provide a specific goal for the implementation of TRANSTRON Environmental Action Plan according to the policies of the Fujitsu Group Environmental Action Plan, Stage VII.

1. Pursuit of Electronic Control Technologies in Consideration of / Contributory to Environment

We make use of our electronic control technologies for global environmental protection and sustainable development of society by evolving them further.

  • Major control technology for diesel engines
  • Car control technology of low-pollution cars
  • Fuel efficient vehicle driving control technologies
  • Technology for more effective vehicle driving by the use of ICT

2. Total abolition of Prohibited Inclusion in Products

We comply with each of the stipulation of the prohibited inclusion designated by the Fujitsu group, European REACH Regulation, RoHS Directive for electronic and electric equipment and ELV Directive for vehicles and the relevant equipment. We also promote the activities for the reduction of VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) in vehicles in accordance with the self-imposed principle of Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association, Inc.

3. Social Contribution Activities

  • As part of collaboration with society, we give financial, technical and personnel support to activities for solving social and environmental problems.
  • As good corporate citizens, we support social contribution activities our employees participate in together with community people.

Environment Activities

On September 12, 1995, the Japan Audit and Certification Organization for Environment and Quality (JACO) certified our environmental management system as compliant with ISO 14001. In our daily corporate activities, we continually strive to save energy, recycle, and provide customers with eco-friendly products.

Environmental Efforts

Achieving carbon neutrality

We will switch to renewable energy across our entire company and supply chain.

Prevention of global warming(reduction of CO2 emissions)

We work to reduce our power consumption by limiting use of lighting and air conditioning.

Reduction of paper

We reduce the copy paper that we purchase by promoting paperless business and by introducing multifunction printers that check IDs.

Reduction of wast

We continually work to reduce our waste by carefully separating trash and by promoting recycling.

Contribution to society

We run programs to collect plastic bottle caps, old stamps, and used prepaid cards, and we support volunteer organizations that run vaccination and tree planting programs.

Protection of biodiversity

We purchase and use copy paper certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), and we support forest conservation projects.

Development of eco-friendly products

We develop with attention to energy conservation, sustainable design, chemical content, eco-friendly materials and technology, and environmental footprint.

Green procurement

The whole Fujitsu group supports suppliers in environmental assessment and action.

Elimination of regulated chemicals

We develop products that conform to regulations on use of hazardous chemical substances, such as the European regulations REACH, the RoHS directive, and the ELV Directive.
